Morceau techno réalisé au départ de nouveaux samples que j’avais tiré du CD Turn up the Bass 24, récemment acquis. On y retrouve donc comme partie principale un loop de guitare du morceau TC Berry – Funky guitar, ainsi que quelques instruments de Usura (Club 22)

New techno song written with new samples i’ve made out of my new CD Turn up the Bass 24. You could recognise a loop guitare from TC Berry – Funky Guitare 92 as main part of the song, … but also sounds from Usura (Club 22).

Sur base de quelques samples, dont un tiré de Urban Cookies Collective, voici un dernier petit hommage directe à Boris,… et Pleasure Games. “Hey Boris tu dors ?” évidemment un clin d’oeil à un titre plus ancien “Le Dormeur”…

Working around some new samples including one out of a single of Urban Cookies Collective, here is the last hommage to Boris and … Pleasure Games called “Hey Boris, your asleep”. Clin d’oeil to an old song from Pleasure Games – Le Dormeur.

Track 12, Planer n’est pas jouer S.E. (2007)

Planer n'est pas jouer S.E.En ce dimanche 1 avril, je retrouvais au Centre Culturel de Seraing pour un enième concert de l’Académie de musique Léon de Leval, ou mon frère, ma mère et ma soeur participait…. et j’y retrouvais mon ami Jean-Denis ‘JedD’ Magis lui aussi de la partie dans la salle… En écoutant l’orchestre de Mr Cauctheux, il me vient alors à l’idée en parlant avec JedD, qu’il pourrait être sympa de faire un morceau techno-trance ou insérant un orchestre philharmonique… Une fois de retour à la maison,… je met donc à la tâche !

Bien évidemment, le matériel de bord, mon brave petit PC 386 et le noble Scream Tracker III sont loin de pouvoir imiter un orchestre, mais tout de même en sélectionnant quelques samples de trompette, piano, violon, xylophone et flûte mélanger à mon ensemble de son techno et de rythme Jungle… le résultat est intéressant !

J’en ai même le temps de me regarder en soirée le Grand du Brésil remporté par Damon Hill sur Williams Renault devant Jean Alesi sur Benetton Renault et Michael Schumacher sur Ferrari…. joli résultat également de Mika Salo sur Tyrrell Yamaha qui termine à la 5° place.

1st April, i was that sunday in the Centre Culturel from Seraing for a new concert of the musical academy Léon Deleval where my brother, my sister and my mother will perform… I met there my friend JedD. Listening to the orchestra, i had the idea to mix techno trance song with a philharmonic orchestra… Back at home, i began to work on it !

Sure, it was not so easy to do such a song with a small 80386 computer and the Scream Tracker, anyway with some intersting samples i add trumpets, piano, violins, xylophone and flute ton my techno sounds and jungle beat… the result is intresting !

I also had the time to watch to the Brazil Grand Prix winnen by Damon Hill on the Williams Renault.

Cyborg Jeff commence à s’imposer à Mc Piet dans la création des morceaux “techno”. Celui mélange partie agressive (destruction) avec des sons Rave oldchool et plus calme (paradise) avec strings et flute de pan.

La nuit des temps – Barjavel

A ce stade, cela n’est pas encore délibéré, mais je suis entrain de lire La Nuit des Temps de Barjavelle… et cela m’a clairement orienté dans le concept de ce morceau.

Je prenais ce jour là l’occasion de remercier pleins de gens… Les Alien Boys (mon groupe de musique) : V-Drums, Pype, Parmy, Thierry. Ceux qui m’avait permis de pouvoir faire de la musique sur Sound Tracker : Romuald ‘Valyum’ Dispa, Xavier ‘Xalope’ Vanhoorick, Eric Vaneuyzen, Dimitri ‘DJ Dim’ Laermans…. Et tout ceux qui écoute ma musique : Laurent Rosati, Xavier Strivay, Pascal Deiting, Salvator Canicatti, Sébastien Valenti, Johan Besançon, François Barré, Valentin et Simon Boigelot, Jean-Denis Magis, Caroline Lepaily, Tchet, Gregory & Geoffrey Dierckx, Pierrick Hansen… et enfin un ptit coucou à Aurore et Angélique Carpenne.

Cyborg Jeff began to be dediated to techno track. This one mixing agressive part (destruction) with oldschool rave sounds and peacefull part (paradise) with strings and pan flute.

I didn’t have reported that during i wrote this song, but i was reading La Nuit des Temps from Barjavelle… and that should oriented my works.

Et voici le retour de Cyborg Jeff après quelques jours de disparition dans un morceau de Techno un peu trop loufoque…. Ceci dit, il y a des morceaux aussi bête qui marche parfois.

Tiens la saison de F1 venait de recommencer, et moi en grand fan, je m’étais empressé d’insérer les résultat de ce premier GP d’Australie à Melbourne dans les commentaires de mon modules… D’autant que je suivais alors un jeu de “Gestion” dans un magasine de F1 Belge… j’avais bien sur tout misé sur Jos Verstappen !

The F1 season 96 have just begun and as i am a big fan, i had add all the result of those first Meblourne’s Grand Prix in my soundtracker informations….

De tous les jeux vu sur l’Amiga 500 de mon ami Bruno Devalkeneer, c’est la musique du jeu Project X, shoot’m up de Team 17 composée par Allister Brimble qui m’a le plus impressionnée. A l’époque, j’étais même persuadé que c’était le groupe Technotronic qui en avait réalisé la bande son, tant la ressemblance et la qualité était proche !

Bref, le jour où j’ai pu mettre la main sur le module soundtracker sur mon PC, j’ai rapidement voulu moi aussi tenté d’en faire quelque chose ! … au final avec tout de moins de panache.

Bien des années plus tard, il me faut admettre que ce fichier à du mal à être relu correctement sur les player et tracker tel que XM Play et Schism Tracker. En cause une nouvelle méthode d’animation que j’avais mise au point dans mes morceaux… pour passer le temps, en faisant du scroll text.

From all the games i’ve watched on the Amiga 500 of my friend Bruno, the music of the game Project X, a shoot’m up from Team 17 written by Allister Brimble is the one have astonished me the most. At that time i realy thniked that it was written by The electro dance band Technotronic as much as the music was so close.

Well, later i finally find the soundtrack .mod on my PC and i quickly would like to something with it. not so good, i should admit.

Now, i have spotted that this soundtrack will not be rendered correctly on XM Play or Schism Tracker. It’s due to some text scroll i’ve added in my a sond, optimized for the Scream Tracker III.

A peine les vacances terminées que je me retrouve derrière le PC avec mes deux voisins Christophe ‘DJ Dub’ Deblire et Laurent ‘MegG’ Rosati, chacun avec un nouveau CD. Une compilation Cherry Moon et le Tekno Computer. De quoi ce mettre à l’ouvrage pour réaliser un nouveau morceau Techno inoubliable !

Holiday just finished, i’ll be back on my computer with my two neigboor Christophe Deblire and Laurent Rosati, both with a new CD. a Cherry Moon compilation and the Tekno Computer. Enough to start a new great techno track !

J’avais donc entamé au début de l’année 1996 une série de module au tour des instruments de mon Yamaha PSR 210. Celui-ci en est au fond bien éloigné, hormis l’utilisation de son Piano, on y retrouve également pas mal de samples tirés du CD La Rocca 2 et même du morceau techno de Roterdam Termination Source – Poing, le tout dans un morceau mi Samba, mi Techno.

Petite dédicace à Caro (Caroline Lepaily), Tchet, Ludo (Ludovic Remacle), Parmy (Laurent Mazzapicchi), Raf (Raphaël Lazzari), Pascal Deiting, Pierrick Hansen, Naguy (Christophe Wagner), V-Drums (Vivien Vanoirbeek).

I had started in the start of 1996 some soundtrack using instruments from my Yamaha PSR 210. This one finaly not so close to that project as i just used the piano with some sounds from the La Rocca 2 CDs and also the “boing” sounds of the techno song : Roterdam Termination Source – Poing in a mix of Samba and techno music.

Ah, j’avais une bonne base de nouveaux CDs dans laquelle puisée pour me créer de nouveau son. Ce morceau techno hardcore avait été réalisé sur base de samples tirés de la compilation La Rocca 2 (de la discothèque belge éponyme) offerte pour mon anniversaire par Caroline Lepaily, Laetitia Morone et Tchet.

J’avais repris la voix du titre Witch Doktor de Armand Van Helden, en inversant la dernière syllable…

So i’ll had a lot new CDs that i could use for my new songs. This technotraxx was realised with sounds sampled from the compilation La Rocca n°2, birthday gift from Caro, Laetitia and Tchet.
