Et bien qu’importe, malgré une tête en moins, ce cher Cyborg Jeff se voulait vous en offrir plus ! C’était il y a 20 ans, je sortais d’une ablation de la thyroïde sous hypnose… non cela ne s’invente pas ! Cyborg Jeff, on lui a coupé la tête racontait alors les petits Worms de mon ami Valentin.
Club de Gymnastique – La Salamandre
Débordant d’enthousiasme à la découverte des compositions de Benoit ‘MAF’ Charcosset dans mon magasine PC TEAM, je me lançais à composer mon “CJ-Land” en exploitant les codes musicaux propres au Soundtracker français. Verra alors le jour ce “Play at CJ Land”, un titre complètement dingue qui sera même pendant plusieurs années la bande son du Club de Gymnastique sérésien “La Salamandre” et qui fera même son retour dans la bande son du jeu Crazy Brix en 1999.
Avec sa gestion de béat et tempo complexe dans Impulse Tracker, le travail de remastering de ce titre n’aura pas été simple !

Overflowing with enthusiasm to discover the compositions of Benoit ‘MAF’ Charcosset in my PC TEAM magazine, I started to compose my “CJ-Land” by exploiting the musical codes specific to the French Soundtracker. “Play at CJ Land” will then see the light of day, a completely crazy title which will even be for several years the soundtrack of the Seresian Gymnastics Club “La Salamandre” and which will even make its return in the soundtrack of the game Crazy Brix in 1999. .
With its management of bliss and complex tempo in Impulse Tracker, the job of remastering this title will not have been easy !

Miek, c’est le petit nom que je donnais à ma soeur ! Si j’avais déjà eu l’occasion de lui composer une bande son pour ses compétitions de gymnastique, voilà déjà un moment qu’elle espérait que je lui prépare une chanson.
Je ressortais donc l’ensemble d’instruments samplés depuis mes différents synthétiseurs Roland et Yamaha comme je l’avais encore récemment pour la chanson écrite pour Carine.
Bien que ma soeur apprécie tout spécialement Céline Dion, Axelle Red ou encore Zazie, ce qui viendra à l’esprit est un peu plus énergique, sans pour autant être génial malgré ses 23 pistes actives.
D’ailleurs, encore une fois, je ne trouverais aucun texte, aucune parole vraiment intéressante à glisser à ce titre “Soi Cool !”
Musicalement, il y a un petit quelques choses qui me faisait penser à la chanson “J’ai des doutes” de Sara Mandiano ou encore “Sur la route” de Gérard De Palmas. Ce qui a peut-être fini par me faire laisser tomber à poursuivre sur ce projet qui n’apparaitra que dans l’album privé “Soft Xmas”.

Miek, that’s the little name I gave to my sister! If I had ever had the opportunity to compose a soundtrack for her gymnastics competitions, she had been hoping for a while that I would prepare a song for her.
So I brought out the set of instruments sampled from my various Roland and Yamaha synthesizers as I had recently for the song written for Carine.
Although my sister especially appreciates Celine Dion, Axelle Red or Zazie, what will come to my mind is a little more energetic song, without being great despite its 23 active tracks.
Moreover, once again, I would not find any text, no really interesting words to slip in this title “Soi Cool!”
Musically, there is a little something that reminded me of the song “I have doubts” by Sara Mandiano or “Sur la route” by Gérard De Palmas. Which maybe ended up making me drop to continue on this project which will only appear in the private album “Soft Xmas”.
